What we collect and why
This website is a brochure site. The only personal information we collect is what you choose to send us through the contact form:
- Your name and email address (required so we can reply to you)
- Your phone number and the service you are interested in (optional)
- The message you write to us
- The date and time you sent it
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to provide our services. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is legitimate interests (responding to enquiries you initiate) and, where relevant, taking steps to enter into a contract with you. We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to.
Where your data is stored and for how long
Contact form submissions are stored securely in Microsoft Azure (UK South region) and a notification is emailed to us. We keep enquiries for up to 12 months from the date received unless the enquiry leads to an ongoing business relationship, after which the information is retained as part of our client records. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
Spam protection
To protect the form from automated abuse we apply a rate limit per visitor. For this purpose we process a one-way hashed (irreversible) form of your IP address for a short period. We do not store your IP address in a readable form and we do not use it to identify you.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or tracking scripts. Fonts and all other resources are served from our own hosting, so your visit is not shared with third-party services.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell or share your personal information. Our website and enquiry storage run on Microsoft Azure, and enquiry notifications are delivered by Azure Communication Services and our email provider — these act as data processors on our behalf under their standard terms. We do not transfer your data outside the UK or the European Economic Area other than through these providers' standard safeguards.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@damanova.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
